Melissa Ashley Alvarado
Melissa Ashley Alvarado is an American-Costa Rican actor, best known for her role as Vicenta in the upcoming film "Golden" (2025), starring Brian Austin Green. Other projects include "The Last Bride" staring Charlotte Kirk.
A skilled voiceover artist, Melissa has voiced video game characters for SIDE, PTW, and Mattel. She began her performance career on stage, performing in choirs and musicals, before discovering her passion for film.
Born in Louisiana, she moved to Costa Rica at the age of 5. While there, Melissa became fluent in Spanish, which deepened her connection to Latin culture. Now based in California, she continues to cherish the Spanish language and her Latin heritage.
Having moved frequently throughout her childhood, often multiple times a year, Melissa found comfort in the stories she could bring with her. She believes that stories are the most powerful force on Earth. Stories offer solace, transcend cultures, unite generations, and inspire humanity to rise above the natural man and strive for greatness. While she has many passions, it became clear that participating in the transformative power of storytelling is the most fulfilling experience for her soul. Serving the story remains the heart of her craft, guiding her through every stage of her training and experience as an actress.
Outside of acting, Melissa delights in beekeeping, gardening, and tending to livestock on her ranch. She also loves scuba diving, running, and is an avid aerial enthusiast.
Melissa is deeply grateful to her family for their constant love, sacrifices, and unwavering support, all of which have been instrumental in helping her pursue her dreams. Her family first inspired her to pursue acting, and her profound love for storytelling continues to fuel her journey in the craft.
