Alecsys Proctor-Turner, a Miami, Florida native, is the proud daughter of Tara D. Turner. She is an actor, singer, writer and voice actor. She got her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theatre from the University of Miami, and her Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Columbia University, where she had the chance to learn from the great Ron Van Lieu. She made her TV debut as Nala in Survival of the Thickest Season 2 on Netflix.
