Soroush Helali
Soroush Helali (°1991) is a Belgian-Iranian actor and filmmaker known for his compelling performances and international appeal. Born in Tehran, Iran, he moved to Belgium with his parents at age 11, where he developed his passion for storytelling. He later earned a master's degree in film direction from LUCA School of Arts in Brussels, refining his skills both in front of and behind the camera.
Fluent in English, Dutch, Persian, French, and Azerbaijani, Soroush's multilingual abilities allow him to take on diverse roles in global productions. His breakthrough came with Netflix's Rough Diamonds, captivating audiences and industry professionals alike. He also appears in Arcadia (Season 2), further establishing his career in Belgium. His work spans international productions, including Amazon Prime's The Assassin (2024), directed by Lisa Mulcahy and Daniel Nettheim, where he shares the screen with Freddie Highmore, Alan Dale, and Gina Gershon. He also stars in Running Dry, an American production directed by award-winning filmmaker Hamzah Jamjoom, and plays a pivotal role in the Iranian film The Dead of Night alongside Ali Mosaffa.
