Hagar Ben-Asher
Hagar Ben Asher is an Israeli Filmmaker and TV writer/director. After premiering two Israeli films in Cannes (Mish'olim (2007), The Slut (2011)), she made her first American film "Dead Women Walking (2018)", which premiered in Tribeca and Venice to rave reviews and numerous awards worldwide. The TV show she created, wrote, and directed, Bad Boy (2023), (Netflix) had won the Israeli Emmy awards and was the first Israeli show to ever compete at TIFF. She has brought her international auteur style to American television for series like Long Bright River (2025), Bosch (2014), and City on a Hill (2019).
