Simon was born in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire and trained at LAMDA where he was awarded the St Philip's Trophy by screenwriter Richard Curtis. Theatre work includes seasons at the National Theatre, Chichester Festival Theatre, Bristol Old Vic and London's West End, playing the role of Link Deas opposite Matthew Modine as Atticus Finch in Aaron Sorkin's acclaimed adaptation of 'To Kill A Mockingbird' at the Gielgud Theatre, London. Recent film work includes compelling World War II epic 'Walking With The Enemy' with Sir Ben Kingsley, cult comedy 'Love's Kitchen', and Paul Schrader's 'The Walker'. Numerous television appearances include 'The Diplomat' (Netflix), 'Brassic' (Sky TV), 'Miss Austen' (BBC), 'Law & Order', 'Endeavour', the landmark final episode of 'Inspector Morse: The Remorseful Day', 'Wallis & Edward' and 'The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles' (Lucasfilm).
