British actress Jeanine Nerissa Sothcott is best known for her acclaimed leading roles in the hard-hitting action/crime movies Nemesis (2020) and Renegades (2021) opposite the likes of Lee Majors, Danny Trejo and Patsy Kensit. Born in Chelsea to a Trinidadian mother and a Guyanese father she worked extensively in dance and theatre before breaking into films later in life. In 2018 she won the 'Rising Star' award at the inaugural Britflix Awards. In 2020 Jeanine married veteran producer Jonathan Sothcott and the two set up London-based production company Shogun Films.
