Mumbai born and Toronto based Natasha Advani Thangkhiew is a member of the Khasi (tribal ethnic minority) and the Sindhi (historically diasporic) community from India. As a multidisciplinary artist and producer, she creates her own work, while championing storytellers and their stories in film, theatre, fashion. Her producing mandate is to create without constrictions but with lots of compassion. Within a year of moving to Toronto in 2022 as she executive produced three ACTRA short films, conceptualized a BIWOC skin acceptance campaign, premiered an original play What Can Indian Look Like? which will be touring in Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2023.
